Why we've grown to the UK and our plans

When it comes to beards, European fashion icons were trimming and combing themselves to sophisticated perfection long before us Americans first penned the Declaration! From John Bull in London munching fish and chips beneath his cavalry whiskers, to the debonair bucks of Milan sporting immaculately trimmed goatees as they sip their coffee, facial hair has a proud and storied European history.
This is why we're so excited here at Beardbrand to finally bring our range of premium men's grooming products to European shores. By setting up shop closer to our continental customers, we ensure you get all the same top-of-the-range beard care products we stock in the US store without the tax man (who, by the way, does NOT sport a beard) making you sweat for it.
Why have we done this? Quite simply, because it's what the European beardsman deserves for having led the way in facial fashion. Urban beardsmen have been instrumental in shaping the course of European history. Consider the natural glory of a full beard, championed by great thinkers like Charles Darwin, or the refined, trimmed look Richard Branson sports in the boardroom. Whatever your walk of life, whatever you believe, you can believe in your beard.
European style, culture and rugged independence are eternal values, ones which helped build a continent. Even in the face of that clean-shaven ethos which has seeped into the world of business, history has proven that you can't keep a good beard down. From the beatniks to the hippies, beards have been a staple of the counter-culture for decades, favoured by artists and musicians as bold expressions of individuality. John Lennon, Alan Moore, the two Bs from ABBA... you get the idea.


It's this distinguished history that's led us to this point. To being able to empower men with the grooming products they need to reclaim their own identities and make their mark on the world. We're working with top European talent to profile the modern beardsman and explore his cities, countries and cultures from a unique perspective.
